Happiness comes from within
We all search to find the things in life that makes us happy. Happiness comes from within if you can't be happy with oneself how do you expect for someone to come along and make you happy. Do you know the definition of happy for you. Is it a lot of affection or a walk in the park. Whatever it maybe you can make these things happen for yourself. Cause when no one is there to fulfill or fill that gap where those that leave you. Don't leave your happiness up to someone else, that's where you set your self up for a whole lot of disappointments. Don't allow any one to hang you out on the ledge looking for a hand to hold or a hand up.

Don't destroy your fruits
Trying to understand how can someone want and try to build a relationship with all there ex-s children and unable to contain a relationship with their own kids. Being a parent doesn't end it's a full-time job no matter your situation. If you haven't been there to your kids don't assume that you are just going to walk back in and just pick up the pieces. Those kids will have some sort of animosity towards you. The small ones might night say much, but believe it they are watching. The older ones are going to challenge your authority. They want answers and they want apologizes don't point any fingers at the parent that has been around either, because even if that parent wasn't the best parent you don't hold any brownie stripes. You don't need to be there friends, but if they are grown and they try to build a relationship with them you be a dad or a mom. Offer up advice and give them support or you will be alone in the end.

Keep it moving
It really pisses me of when I'm driving and someone decides I'm driving to slow and they decide to pass me. So they end up passing and going in front to do what slow down Hmmm.. how do you pass someone and then slow down when you pass. If your in a rush to go then go way in front and keep speeding ahead. What was the purpose of passing in the first place. If you find that the person who was causing you to decrease your speed go around and let me not be able to see your license plate, because I'm going to come right back up and pass you if you come back in front of me.

Tell the truth
I try to figure out why people just can't tell the truth. Is it really so hard to just admit your wrong or just say you are right. I would prefer to here the truth than to be lied to and taking for a fool. If you can open up your mouth to speak let it be truth. Don't tell a lie to make yourself look better, at the end of the day you are only lying to self. As grown up we instill in our kids to speak the truth even if it means that you are going to get in trouble. So as adults we should do as we say. Be the example of the kids believe it or not the kids do pay attention more to what we do than what we say. So when we decide to speak let the truth be told. Is it easier to lie than to tell the truth?
Happy Birthday
My son made Birthday this week the last of my babies. He made 9 and he was so excited. Last week he stated that since he was making 9 in 6 more days we should just say he's 9. I think he is so adorable. I look at my kids and remember were I came from with them. The days we spent walking to catch the bus in the cold along with the train. We will sit down and talk about when they grow up and graduation. Oh my how time flies. So know it's the last one and I look at him how I looked at them with admiration in my heart knowing that he too will be grown soon and gone. So when he got up on his Earthday. I said so how does it feel to be 9 no " he said no different I just can't wait to be 10" I LOL and said can we atleast get threw 9 first.

Can we all just get along!!!
I don't understand how we can get together to enjoy Holidays and the Super Bowl, but we can't stay together come together on a daily basis. Why do we feel the only time we can be in each other's company is when it's an entertaining event. We seem to get along just fine sitting down shouting and cheering for your teams. Or when we go and cook or eat. I think that however we go about putting all the pettiness aside for these events we should do that all the time. Or maybe the people that we invite and have a good time with for the moment are the people we should have in our corner at least three days out of the week with that great team spirit. We can all be better to one another Christmas was every day and Super Bowl was every weekend.

Don't rush growing up
It's funny how kids want to be grown in there parents house and can't wait to leave, because they seem to forget we was small at one time too. I so laugh when I here my kids and they're friends stay and say they are going to do so many things not realizing that life hits you just the minute you decide to be grown.
As the old people say you want to be grown when grown things start to happen don't call me. I laugh because I too remember wanting to grow up and be on my own and do my own stuff. Because Mom and Dad was just to hard and always want to dictate my goings and my comings. Then I realize how good I had it not having to pay any bills and spend my money how I wanted too and on what I wanted to.
Kids don't no how good we have it when we are small until life hits us. When you aren't the parents you have no worry or stress. Growing up happens and then boom life happens..

Lost my Love
Lost my Love on June 23,2008 he decided that it was time for him to say Goodbye. My lost love was my Dad. For me he gave me love like no other he held my hands and made me feel safe, kissed me on my forehead to offer security. That was my dad he was a strong dapper man. He instilled in me that I was beautiful and to love me first and all the other love will follow. When I needed encouragement he offered it to me. He would always say to me " Be strong hold your head up don't let nothing or no one stop you from believing that what you set your mind to is worth fighting to far." I had the pleasure of being raised with both parents. We had our fun times and we also seen sum hard times, but true it all we remembered to share love. My dad was surely the disciplinarian in the house. He layed the laws and he made sure they were kept. Me and my dad didn't always get around I thought he was the meanest person and always believed that everything had to solved with a spanking. For me it was so unfair because I had to take all the licks seeing as I was the only child.
When I had my first child my dad was so upset to hear that I was having a baby, but when my son was born my dad feel in love with him as if he was his own son. I looked at my dad in a whole new light he showed my son so much love. He made sure he feed him and took him for walks people would say to me we say your dad walking your son this morning again. As my daughter came he did the same with her he nurtured my kids. He thought them about themselves and believing in themselves. So love we knew and love I shared with my kids.
The day my dad left this earth I had recently moved to Orlando and I use to call my parents every weekend to talk to them. When I called my mom said my dad wasn't feeling well I asked to speak to him and we spoke I asked him what was happening and he explained the pain as gas. Little did we know that would be the last nite that we saw him my mom went and made him some tea as me and my dad stayed on the phone. Mom came and gave him the cup just a we had finished praying our lord prayer. He took the cup he drank the tea and next thing I no I heard the cup drop, my dad said he was going to lay down in the bed, my dad stayed and was having a heart attack and he took his last breathe as my mom stayed in the back asking him not to leave her here alone. On June 23,2008 is the day I Lost my Love. My Dad

Then and Know
Isn't funny how our parent's would always say you ain't doing anything that I haven't seen or tried before. Look around what do you see. The styles that our parents used to where are coming back with a new spin. When we were being raised by our parents we thought that the rules and the guidelines were old-fashion, but it kept us in line. As we raise our own kids we try to instill the things our parents instilled in us in them. We find ourselves saying the same thing to them that our parents said to us. Is it a cycle or is it the value that was instilled in us.
We find that the things we were thought as a child has made us who we are today. And even though life comes and hit us with those huge road blocks we seem to always remember the things that we were taught. The teachings of the neighbor, the man or woman on the corner, the lunch lady, bus driver didn't matter who it was we got a word and at the time it just didn't make any sense we listened and just went on our own merry way.
Coming up the people in the community looked out for one another there was a sense of stability in the neighborhood. There was respect amongst everyone and children did as they were told not as they wanted. Know a days can not speak to any one kids without them cursing at you and then their parent coming and doing the same. Sometimes you have to wonder why that kid is acting that way then you see the parent and you get a better understanding. As the old folks say the apple don't fall from the tree. I'll take the old school values any day over the one's they have know..

Simplicity of life
Where has family time gone? Why do we go out and purchase a dining room table if we don't sit down and socialize at it anymore. Do we just purchase one because it a common thing to do? How many families actually sit down and eat at there table and sit and conversate this was the purpose of the dining table. I think that we have become so distant from each other that we see each other as we pass in the halls of our house. We spends so many time in front of the TV or we are on our cell phones and if we do communicate it's a very vague conversation. We need to come back to the simple things of life when we cared how each other day was and how you feeling. Because everyone is so wrapped up in there little own world do we even make memories anymore. Memories are what keeps the pleasures of families alive.
We need to spend time with our kids, because they grow so fast and before you no it they will be having families of there own. When was the last time you had a family night were everyone just sat down around the TV and agreed on a movie to watch not a reality show and pop some popcorn and just laugh and cried.
TV has also taking the place of us raising our kids, where we just put them there in order for them to be out of our way. We are so busy doing the things that we do we forget that the little people need to have bonding time with us.
The dining room was a place for families to come together and unwind know it's a place where we all just eat and run. It's like a drive thru you pick up and go. We need to get back to the Simple Things In Life where you sat and just unwind without being on the cellphones and checking your Facebook page and Instagram and Twitter. Life is so Simple and we take it for granted.

Limitations
I no that as a child we were told you never let your right hand know what the left hand is doing, but when that comes into a relationship I believe there are certain boundaries. The past should be left in the past unless it is worth the share, because they are certain things that you share that seem to keep coming up over and over. So when do you draw the line and just keep certain things to oneself. Do you tell if a ex is coming in town to visit. Do you tell why you and your ex broke up, do you tell how you enjoyed certain things that you and your friends did.
Is there certain things that you shouldn't compare and contrast in your current relationship. What is enough and what is too much.
You feel that certain things should be told because you don't want to keep any secrets ad then they come out in conversations with family or friends. So what are the limit when it comes to being open in a relationship?

Obstacles
This my returning week at school I'm really excited because I have been waiting for this day to come. I have had a lot of obstacles that had me falter. But I won't let that be an excuse for me not to keep going. As grown up we all have faced this thing called life that picks you up and takes you places you haven't or even thought you would be.
I believe that you are what you allow yourself to be. You can never allow yourself to feel that anyone is at a better place than you. You just have to believe that you are where your suppose to be, because of the path that you decided to choose your path was trusted in a different direction than what was expected. Expectations are like a negative force field that is placed on your head. Because if you fail at the expectations then you feel that you are a disappointment. You have to dig deep inside your self and find that will to keep going. There will always be something that will get in the way, but you have to remember that life is what happens to us when we grow up and become responsible for our own decisions.
